Email & Communications Policy

How we communicate with you by email, what you can expect to receive, and how to stop receiving emails at any time.

Effective date: 20 June 2026  ·  The Reset Room · Dubai, UAE

1. Overview

The Reset Room communicates with you by email in the following circumstances: when you submit a contact enquiry, when you register for the founding waitlist, when you subscribe to The Brief newsletter, and when you book a session. This policy explains each of these communication types, what you will receive, and how to opt out.

We do not send unsolicited emails. We do not send promotional emails to people who have not actively submitted their address to us. We do not sell, share, or rent your email address to any third party for marketing purposes.

2. Transactional emails

Transactional emails are sent in direct response to an action you have taken. They are not marketing and cannot be opted out of while the action is active.

Contact enquiry confirmation

Triggered by: You submit a message via the /contact page.

We send you a reply to your enquiry. No follow-up marketing emails are sent as a result.

Booking confirmation

Triggered by: You complete a session booking via Cal.com.

Cal.com sends a booking confirmation email containing your private call link, session details, and any rescheduling or cancellation options. This is sent by Cal.com, not directly by The Reset Room.

Coach notifications

Triggered by: Internal only — sent to the coach when you submit any form.

A notification email is sent to the coach (Kurt Micallef) so he can follow up with you. This email is not sent to you.

3. The Brief — newsletter

The Brief is an occasional email publication from The Reset Room. It covers performance, direction, mindset, and practical thinking for men. It is not a weekly email. It is sent only when there is something genuinely worth reading.

You join The Brief by submitting your email address in the newsletter strip on the website. By subscribing, you consent to receiving occasional email from The Reset Room on the topics described above.

What The Brief is:

  • Occasional content on performance, mindset, direction, and practical thinking.
  • Written directly — no filler, no padding, no sponsored content.
  • Sent only when there is something worth your time.

What The Brief is not:

  • A weekly or scheduled email — frequency is not fixed.
  • An advertising vehicle — we do not include paid promotions or third-party advertising.
  • A hard-sell channel — we do not send repeated promotional emails pushing you to book.

How to unsubscribe from The Brief

You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing hello@theresetroom.global with the subject line “Unsubscribe”. Your email address will be removed promptly and you will not receive further newsletter emails. An unsubscribe link will also be available in each email we send.

4. Founding waitlist communications

When you register for founding access via the /for-men page, you are added to a list of men who have expressed interest in upcoming programs from The Reset Room.

You will receive an email from us when programs you selected are ready to launch, before they are made available to the public. This is the primary and intended use of your waitlist registration.

Waitlist emails are not The Brief newsletter. Registering for the waitlist does not subscribe you to The Brief, and subscribing to The Brief does not add you to the founding waitlist. They are separate lists.

How to be removed from the waitlist

To be removed from the founding waitlist and stop receiving waitlist-related emails, email us at hello@theresetroom.global with the subject line “Remove me from waitlist”. We will remove your entry from the database promptly and confirm by reply.

5. Email sending infrastructure

Emails from The Reset Room are sent via Resend, a transactional email delivery provider. Resend processes your email address solely for the purpose of delivering the email to you. It does not use your address for its own marketing purposes.

Booking confirmation emails are sent directly by Cal.com from their platform. These are transactional emails related to your booking only.

6. How long we keep your email address

Newsletter subscriber email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Waitlist entries are retained until the relevant program launches and founding members have been notified, or until you request removal. Contact enquiry emails are retained for up to two years.

For more information on how we store and handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Contact

For any questions about our email communications, to unsubscribe, or to request deletion of your email address, contact us at hello@theresetroom.global. We will always respond promptly.
